Oops- It's Wednesday
Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 09:19PM I actually forgot that it's Wednesday even though regular Wednesday things did happen today. No Whatever Wednesday today. I'm actually way behind now on work so I can't spare that many minutes. I'm trying to get as much editing done before the weekend. But, I do have time to show you this picture. This session is actually third on my list but I always have to come home and look at them. I couldn't wait to see these especially. Meet baby Gage. He is the beautiful boy of the beautiful momma that I photographed a month ago.
Does anyone remember what it was like to be a first time mom? The feeling of elation and thrill and anxiety all at the same time? It's amazing.
Back to work.

What a precious baby boy! I have a cousin by the same name. Very nice name.
My daughter is 3 and Lucas is 1 and I still remember what it felt like to be a first time mom. For Shelby, I remember looking at her ultrasound pictures at home and just crying because I couldn't yet hold her in my arms. For Lucas, I didn't think the 9 months would ever end! It's hard to believe that I can hold the same amount of love for Lucas as I do for Shelby. But I do :o)
I do remember it, vaguely most days. But then I look at that lovely photo and it all comes flooding back. That is just beautiful.

Absolutely precious! My baby is turning ONE next month and it's so hard to believe how quickly the time has gone! Thanks for the reminder to savor each moment!

Elation, thrill and anxiety and EXHAUSTION!!! not to mention bewilderment :-) Yes, it's 14 years ago but I remember it like yesterday.
Beautiful moment captured. Yes, those days were anxious but also full of wonder at those tiny little beings. Sometimes I long for those days, but not the sleep deprivation or how my body felt afterwards. Those little things you tend to forget...well, almost. ;)
I love the lighting here. Seems like such a quiet and peaceful moment caught. I was a wreck as a first time Mommy. I am hoping to have the chance to do it over again someday!
