Viva Fiesta
It's Fiesta time here in the San Antonio area. And that means there are tons of events going on in and around town. Most of it is family friendly. Some of it includes arts and crafts, some of it includes kings and queens, some of it includes sports, all of it includes a lot of culture and a lot of eating. We headed downtown yesterday on what couldn't have been a more beautiful day.
We first stopped at Market Square to eat at one of our favorite SA restaurants...
...and of course to hear the mariachi play.
Then we took took the girls to a charreada, which is a Mexican rodeo. For Fiesta, they also had mariachias and ballet folklorico dancers. Of course, nothing beat watching the girls in their pretty dresses ride side saddle without falling.
Our lovelies at the beginning of our festivities. Natalya had just eaten a yellow snow cone so her lips are orange.
And at the end. Her thumb had just fallen out of her mouth. We will try to make it downtown again before Fiesta is over next weekend.
Hmm, My Best Shot for this Monday... my girlies, 'cause they make me happy.
