A Bike Rodeo, a Ballet, and an Acrobat Show
That was our weekend. We started off Friday with Natalya's school bike rodeo. Cops in shorts always crack me up.
I think it's a proven fact that tongues help with concentration. Can you see the tip of her tongue poking out?
That is new pink helmet. I asked her if she wanted me to sparkle it up for her and she replied, "Momma, it's just a helmet." Vienne would have shouted, "Yes!"
Later that night, our little town's library hosted a short performance of Ballet San Antonio at the convention center. Again, watching Vienne watch the show is sometimes more enjoyable. They showcased their youth company which includes dancers from 12 to 18 years old. Natalya was even inspired. On Saturday, we spent the afternoon celebrating a very special 5 year old's birthday (happy birthday, Deven!) and then later that night we went to see the National Acrobats of Taiwan. Very fun. Vienne has had a fascination with acrobats. If you ask Vienne what she wants to be she'll say she wants to be an acrobat. Or a princess.
Today, we rested.

Goodness you fit a lot into the weekend! I'm laughing about the cop in shorts too!
you make me feel ever so lazy...
Wow!! That's to many things in one weekend..but I know it happens like that sometimes!! Glad you rested!
Sounds like you needed a rest! What a great weekend.
And, in my humble opinion, cops shouldn't wear shorts. I think they lose alot of authority (or at least the impression of it) when they do.
Wow, sounds like you really needed the rest! Your weekend was full of cultural and fun events...I'm jealous. :)
Oh yea. Cops in Shorts. Sounds like a reality TV show. HAHAHAHAH
Sorry. Natalya looks v confident there on her bike! Love the no nonsense approach to the helmet. The BA is out of the same mould. No nonsense with glitter and sparkle thanks very much.
By the way. I've tagged you for a meme.
