Team Up Thursday

This week at Team Up, Megan and I chose "in the distance" as our theme.  Megan is still bragging about her Hawaii vacation with her image on the left.  :p  Mine is of Vienne.  This was the first time I ever bribed her with a dollar to work for me.  Boy, was that easy!  She even did the whole thing with a smile.  I just hope she doesn't ask for more next time.  

I realized that I usually choose to come in closer while taking a photo.  I think it's because I'm not a fan of landscape photography.  Knowing this week's image would have a lot of landscaping in it, I made sure that I added a pop of color to make it more interesting.  Megan's has it too.  That sea of blue and that pop of red with the white line dividing the image into two colors adds so much more interest.

I Love...

...My now 10 year old baby.

I've been reminding Natalya that I was in labor with her for almost 48 hours and that the only way to pay me back for that is to not turn 10.  She thinks I'm nuts.  Happy birthday to my sweet, sweet angel.  

Team Up Thursday

As I post this dip today I expect to hear a loud collective, "Aw, man" from the Team Up world.  Megan is not suffering in the cold and gloom.  She is celebrating our theme this week of "blue" from one of the best places in the world.  Darn her.  Check out all of those fish!  My girls would totally be freaking out.  Frankly, I would too.  My "blue" is sorta sketchy because apparently we don't have blue in our house.  I had to go digging in the play room.  Doesn't that little pony look like she's warming up on stage?  If you're wondering where Megan's post is, you can blame me for the delay.  She'll be up and running as soon as she gets my email with my pic.  But I'm guessing she's sleeping in.  Darn her again.

Team Up Thursday

Team Up Thursday is celebrating one year of dips with our theme "celebrate".  A whole year of collaborating with Megan has be fun and inspiring.  I've always been pleased with what we've come up with together and look forward to more.  Thanks to everyone who has played along with us this year.  Whether you were a regular or part time player.

...Girl Scout cookies!

My hips are very grateful that all of those cookies are not mine.  The Hubs said that I was going overboard on the bundling.  But he'll appreciate it once he realizes how many of these bundles go to work with him.  Grouped together by order, tagged with a name and total.

This is the first year that the girls have been in Girl Scouts so it's our first year to sell cookies.  

My favorite will always be Samoas.  But my new love is the Thank You Berry Munch.  I am disappointed to hear that they will be discontinuing it though.  Our biggest sellers were Thin Mints and Samoas so I guess the cranberry newbie just had tough competition.  Girls Scouts all over the country are peddling cookies so buy a box and support our troops.  :)
