Team Up Thursday

Megan on the left and me on the right.  Our theme for this Team Up Thursday was "dark".  But we both somehow incorporated light into our photos.  Cool.  Hope you are playing again this week.  Megan and I were thrilled to see so much participation last week and were even more thrilled to see such awesome diptychs.  If you are new and need a partner, go to Megan's and leave a comment.  She'll hook you up.  And pick up the blog button (thanks, Leah!)  I can't figure out how to get it on here yet.

Love these. I love the softness of the first one and how it truly looks the way a mother wold see it. The contrast in the second one is awesome. I love the silhouette and the light coming from behind at an angle.
Amy Craft and I went with the theme 'chilled':

Oh I like how there are people in both shots in different states of dark. Very nicely put together. If you can't copy and past the code right off my site and paste it in your post let me know. There's something wrong the code then. I tried to make it look like the same code that's up for the Friday Story link.

I love these together. You guys chose a challenging theme and I think you nailed it.

Yup,this one would have been difficult for me too. The tilt of her head in your shot really adds to the photo along with the warm tones. Megan's little man looks so deep in thought. She captured great detail. Another great week Melody!

Wow. Wow! You almost can't tell where one photo ends and the other begins...that is so cool. It looks like N. is actually looking in on Megan's little guy. (It is N. right...it looks way too tall to be V!) And the head tilt...I just love the silhouette.

I love how they blend together in the darkness. Almost looks like you went from one room to the next. Lo ve your silhouette in the doorway.

This is cool. I think I said that last week.

I love, love, LOVE your photo, Melody!!! It holds both mystery and peace to me. This theme would be a challenge for me, but you and Megan did such a great job on it. I also really like how the two images flow together, no clear dividing line!

I love both your takes on the "dark" theme. Great diptych!
