Let's Play

Hurricane Ike veered away from us but he has to be the reason we've been having such chilly weather.  And by chilly I mean, "Man, I'm cold" upper 50's waking up in the morning.  Sort of unusual.  But it also means glorious "Man, I'm cold" weather during the day and after dinner in the upper 70's, low 80's.  There's a reason we live in Texas.  The girls will play outside for hours when it's nice outside.  Sometimes I hate to be the one to say, "It's time to go in.  We have school tomorrow."

More playing around at Stacy's.

Beautiful shot. We too are taking advantage of the still warmness to play outside. Before we know it, fall will be here and it will be cold and dark.

Us too!!!! We are loving the cooler weather and evenings spent outside! Love your choice of focus in this shot.

I love the composition of this shot with the girls blurred out in the background - very nice! Glad you have some "cool" weather to play outside in - of course those are the highest we can expect this time of year. It is supposed to maybe get 80 this week - whoohoo! A warm spell!

great perspective. i wish my boys liked drawing on the sidewalk as much as i do :).

I love the perspective of this picture! Awesome! I wish we had a better area to play in outside. This yard we have is mostly cement. You can only do so much with cement (including chalk) then grass calls out to run and roll in.

Hey girl - I LOVE that shot! I'm curious what lenses you've been using lately. Do you mind sharing what's in your bag? I'm looking for some new ones! Also, Mac or PC?

I don't know what I love more - the perspective, the story, the glimpse of the girls in the background. It is all just lovely.

Chilly weather, even with Ike changing the weather patterns a bit, means fall is on the way. :) Cute picture of playing hopscotch.
