Team Up Thursday

This week at Team Up Thursday, Megan and I chose "all in a row" for our theme.  From the looks of Megan's picture on the bottom, basketball has started up again.  My picture is on the top.  All the piggies in a row, creepy crawlies and all.  That's what we call the little fuzzies that get stuck between the toes.

It seems that a lot of us (meaning me) have a difficult time getting inspired and need some nudging to pick up our cameras this time of year.  I blame the rush of the holiday.  Oh, and the cold.  I won't mention how cold it's been in S. Texas lately because I know it's worse in other places.  So there are a lot of photo challenges out there to get you thinking and moving and hopefully inspired to take some more pics.  There's always the photo a day/365 challenge.  I have no idea where this started, I couldn't find it.  But basically you take a pic a day.  Shutter Sisters plays so you can contribute there.  I tried and have already given up 13 days into the year.  That's a lot of commitment.  So there are a few 52 week challenges which seems more doable.  Cara and Jessie have 52 Weeks of Me (You) which involves you taking your own portrait.  The Creative Mama is hosting a photo challenge that happens every two weeks with a prompt.  MCP Actions Project 52 is weekly with a prompt.  And of course there's Team Up Thursday.  I know there's more, so comment if you wanna.  Lots of ways to stay in the game and get out of the winter rut.

I love the piggies!
I too tried the 365 project last year and made it 20 weeks and then got completely overwhelmed.
Thanks for mentioning our project.
I thought 52 photos would be much more manageable than 365 - then Jessie suggest the self portrait (which put a little more challenge to it)

Love those sweet little piggies. I am going the 52 Weeks of Me with Cara and Jessie. It has been a fun challenge so far.

i knew you two would come up with something great for this one. and the piggies did NOT disappoint! love it.
yes, i'm feeling it too. i'm glad for TUT, otherwise, i wouldn't have picked up my camera this week. very sad indeed.

Two cute line ups! Love them both.

I did the P365 for two years and got burned out. But I'm still taking pictures on a regular basis. I like the weekly challenges like this one.
I find if you carry your camera around with you all the time (yes, even the big SLR), you will see opportunities and capture them.

In winter, I buy myself flowers that I love - then I take pictures of them. That definitely gets me out of a rut!

Lee and I teamed up this week with some Hats:

oooh, I love the piggie toes! They aren't even stinky from here. ;o)
I've actually been getting the camera out way more often these couple weeks! I didn't sign up for any of the challenges tho...my camera is slowly dying, and I don't want to commit to anything I'm not sure I can follow thru on!

What wonderful suggestions. :) I know what you mean. I didn't pick up my camera for over a week and when it came to trying to come up with a shot for all in the row I was literally at a loss. Hence my filing shot. LOL
I've your toes though. :)

I seriously LOVE your little toes shot. The soft coloring of your pp is phenomenal! Hubs got me a new lens for Christmas and I can't put my camera down lol :) I think that I have blogged every day in January - that won't last. Have a great weekend and I hope that it warms up for you guys!

Those little piggies are my favorite of all the "in a row" I've seen! I'd love to have some little piggies to photograph, but alas, mine are all grown up!

Love the little piggies - so cute! Anya has these really fuzzy fleece socks that shed incredibly, too. She loves them, just not the fuzzies. ;)

I need to start participating in some photo project, too. I think I need a once a month one, the way things are going around here.

LOVE the piggies all in a row. Very creative to have thought of that based on your theme. Christina and I will be jumping back in soon for TuT. I am heading out to Florida this Saturday for a week with my family and told her we could start when I got back. I figured it was best to wait until then so that we wouldnt have to skip another week after just starting up again.

Oh yes, the winter/holiday ruts! I feel it too although some of it has to do with how much LESS time I have on my hands at the moment with Olivia. I am doing the 365 (even though I never said I would and wondered how people could), but I really think it helps by doing it with the Hipstamatic app. Its always at hand wherever I am....Doctors office, out to dinner, etc.
