Team Up Thursday

Our Team Up Thursday theme this week was "relax". Megan on the top and me on the bottom. I really have a hard time relaxing. I always believe that the best time for me to relax is at the end of the day when I've made it to bed. I do have to brag that my girls are really easy at bed time so I'm done with them and out of their rooms no later than 8:00. Then my bed calls pretty loudly. I think this may be the first week where Megan and I are totally not even related in our "relax" ideas. But I'm still happy with our diptych.

While entering her pic I felt kinda Toddlers and Tiaras weird even though I know I'd never be like that. It's such a touchy industry. But something possessed me to do it "just this once". Great shots this week! Your "bed shot" makes me want to grab a good book and go back under the covers. Although they are very different shots this week, they both wonderfully represent "relaxing." I love the processing in both of the pics...such soft and faded beauty!
Of course I voted! She's adorable, I hope she makes it! I have a neighbor with the cutest kids and they are now on with a modeling agency and the kids have been in quite a few "spreads." They love it, it's a big adventure for them and they are stacking their college fund. What could be better?

The warmth and haze of the light in your room is so dreamy and wonderful. I absolutely love the angle of this shot too. Christina and I were totally different this week in our theme too, but thats wonderful how one word can be interpreted in so many different ways. Such a wonderful shot for your theme Melody!
Ahhhhhhh...just what I needed...relaxing photos to look at. I love the green and cool in the top one and the softness and light in the bedroom is delicious!

Oh girl I love these two pics...completely different from one another. My only time to relax is in the evening too so I totally feel you there!! Was your pic taken in the morning? Love the lighting!! And I love Megan's picture too, it's so cool that she captured him playing a guitar. I wonder what he's singing about? hmmm..

I know what you mean about relaxing, when I saw that was your theme I totally felt at a loss. Guess that's why I suggested teeth to Marty for this week. ;) No relaxing around a teething baby. LOL
I like both those shots. The idea of relaxing at home in bed and the idea of relaxing outside with someone in a special place. Very nice together.

Now on to the photo of yours....it is divine! Seriously. It might be one of my top five all-time photos of yours. I just keep going back to stare at it - the light is so very beautiful and soft and makes me sleepy and warm just looking at it.

I want your room! It is so inviting and comfortable. I really love that shot a lot. The man playing the guitar just feels mellow to me and I just love the surroundings and framing. You both really captured relax this week perfectly.

Oh Melody! That is the ultimate relaxing image. Divine. Makes me want to go right back to bed and luxuriate in those lovely blankets. :) It also makes me want to see more pictures of your house, because every time we get a peak I just love it. That scrumptious light is amazing, too.

Great shots! We've had a few nice sunny days recently which makes me long for light like that to stream through my window. I like that we see this image as though we were snuggled there in those comfy covers. This is in the morning, right?

When this started to load I saw Megan's pylon first and then was surprised and charmed by the tiny dude with the guitar. Prior to his appearance there was no clue as to the scale of the object she was shooting and it was so cool when you realised how BIG it was! Your shot was, as has been noted, a complete and delightful contrast and this of course is the beauty of Team Up Thursday; some contrasts, some like minds and some amazing blends. Great job girls.
Of course I have already dashed over and voted for V. I have been telling you since day one that those girls ought to be 'in the business' (modelling of course!!!) :-D
