I Love...

...The SA Rodeo.

And not because of

And not because of

And not because of

Although they weren't all that bad.  Like a funnel cake with warm peanut butter and jelly.

I love the rodeo because of

They did not get their bravery from me.  And because

She's reached the maximum weight limit for pony rides so this will be the last.  Seriously?  She's getting to big for something?  She rides every week but somehow she still wants to do this one.  And I love the rodeo because

we get to wear our cowgirl duds.  And because

We just have fun.  I just about freaked when N said she wanted to get on this ride.  Really?  How is that fun?  I would have puked and then puked some more.  Check out their faces.  This is when it was coming down.  Ha!

But mostly I love the rodeo because we get to explore and learn and be together.

I think the last one will be My Best Shot for today.  I Love Best Shot Monday.

Love these photos. Fried PB&J...hmmmmmm. I am with you about the rides...a couple of years ago I decided to get my brave on and get on a roller coaster. I cried and kept begging my husband to make them stop the ride:)

That's a LOT of great reasons to love the rodeo! Would you believe I've lived in TX 15 years and never been to a rodeo? I think that needs to change. But, I hope my girl isn't as adventurous as yours, as this mam couldn't take that adrenaline!

Makes me want to visit a rodeo myself! Looks like they had a great time - and what a great shot of her priceless expression!

Ok. Wait. Funnel cakes with PB&J!!! Holy rodeo. I'm so on my way.
That is an awesome shot - I would be doing the rides with my girls if they weren't scaredy pants....nobody seems to want to do those around here yet.

I CAN NOT do rides! The older I get, the weaker my stomoach is....and Im only 34! I love how you pointed out Hubs and N. Your rodeo looks fantastic though. I didnt realize there was so much stuff to do. What great fun!

That looks like so much fun! How can she be getting too big for pony rides?? That is just not fair. They need bigger ponies, I guess. ;)

I would have puked on that ride too. I'm totally with you on that.

You are so great at showing the really cool things around town to attend!! I've been here 4 yrs and have yet to attend a Rodeo - maybe it's time to change that!! If anything, just to try the pb&j funnel cake. Seriously?!!?

Texas Rodeo=Adelaide Show without the peanut butter and jelly :-D
I can't believe N is almost 9!!!! I am sure she was 6 or something last birthday. Aren't we privileged to experience the march of time together?????
