Boerne Champion HS Senior- Camilla Part II
Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at 08:03PM
A couple of months ago I photographed the lovely Camilla and her family. She and her mom asked me to do a few more of Camilla and her horse at her house. My 8 year old would be in heaven if 1.) she had her own horse and 2.) it lived in her own backyard.
Not like any rodeo gal you've ever seen, huh? I loved the experience. Camilla was easy, we had to wait on Sissy (the horse) a little. But they both photograph beautifully.
I haven't wanted to put it out there in the universe but my headaches have subsided. A little bit of this and that and I've been feeling so good. Knock on wood for me, everyone. I do have a routine MRI scheduled just to make sure nothing is growing where it shouldn't be. Do MRIs make everyone else sleepy?

So gorgeous, Melody! They are two natural beauties. Love the flare you captured.
Knocking on wood for you!
such lovely light in those portraits, melody. knocking for you, too :).
So glad to 'see' from you. Those headaches must have been really knocking you around (as we say). I love that second photo....and I bet she does too!!!!
The second photo is my favorite. Glad your headaches are better!
just beautiful. glad to hear you're feeling better.
the 2nd one is my favorite too! and... i want a horse. I think that is so cool. Every kid's DREAM... actually, I wanted whales and dolphins to live back there too!~so glad your headaches are better!!
That last shot is perfect. I love her head titled inward toward her horse's eye. What a precious and thoughtful moment.
Glad to hear the headaches are better. :)
MRIs don't make me sleepy, but the Valium that I requested (just in case I was claustrophobic and didn't know it) did.
Glad to hear you are feeling better...what a relief for you, I"m sure. Wonderful shots of the girl and her horse. I bet she loves them. :)
Melody - I found your blog via BEST SHOT MONDAY, which I also participate in. I love horses, and so I stopped here to admire Camilla and her horse ... lovely shots, by the way. But what I really wanted to say was just this: I read what you wrote about your headaches, and I so wanted to support you in that moment of "i wasn't sure I should say anything, but I've had less headaches" ... From the MRI note you made, it sounds like your headaches were caused by something worse than mine, but I've had migraine for 47 years (and I'm only 50 yrs old!). I so totally "get" what it feels like to have ... fewer headaches, or less severe headaches, or a day without a headache. It's like "WHOA, is this what other people get to feel like?!". It's amazing to have a headache-free day, for me, anyway. GOD BLESS AND KEEP YOU on the path to better health. I know how hard it can be. YOU TAKE BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS, too. :-) -- All the best to you -- Davielle
the second one down is my favorite.
