Whatever Wednesday

I made it to another Wednesday.

• Two more days of school for Natalya and Vienne graduates from preschool tomorrow.  They made graduation caps and it's gonna be sooo cute.
• I think because we are planning our Hawaii trip, I've had my radar on for all things mermaid, fish, octopus.  There may be more of that around just because it's coming up on Summer.  But I just love it all.  Here's some cute stuff all things beach related:  All things mermaid on one page, and all things under the sea or pirate, too;
• This is an awesome find.  Last Christmas I bought this book called Christmas Doodles for the girls.  They loved it.  I did so much better at pushing plain paper over color books for Natalya but not so good with Vienne.  I just think plain paper is better for the imagination.  Well, these books are a nice mix between plain paper and color books.  It's hard to to describe, just click the link and click the images to enlarge them.  I will get the others in the series for our trip.  The link for the Christmas one does not show page examples but the other links do.  Nice for Summer vacation, too.  
• Speaking of doodles, check out this frame.  Wouldn't this be great for a work desk or a teacher gift?  Too late for our teachers this year, but I'm bookmarking it.
• We saw Wolverine last Saturday.  First of all, I don't know how people bring their kids to movies like that.  I saw what I thought was a five year old.  Mine would have nightmares for at least a month afterwards.  Second, I always say to myself that I'm not drinking in movies anymore cuz by the time the end comes I really have to pee and then I have to hold it cuz I don't want to miss the end.

• That apron that V has on is made by a sweet friend and wonderfully sewer.  She will hopefully have her etsy shop up and running soon. 
• We had a nice Memorial Day weekend, just relaxed, swam, relaxed.  Hope everyone got to do a little bit of nothing.

owen graduates from preschool tomorrow too...for the third time -- not as bad as it sounds, i know :). let's see if he'll actually deign to wear his cap & lei this year. i'm sure you can't wait till hawaii -- we had a blast when we went in march. happy wednesday!

V is getting so big.....I am also excited about graduation. ours is monday. is she really going to kinder?? she was just born :o) i want to go to Hawaii so bad. One of my good friends lives there.....thanks for all the links...miss u
