All We Need is...

...Love.
And a little bit of fresh air and a swift hike to beat the cold 60 degree weather. That's right, I said cold.
Yesterday we took to the girls to the state park not too far away to do a some hiking and exploring. I always forget how much they love it. I was a little chilly but they trekked on and didn't want to leave. We skipped rocks, hunted armadillo (saw two!), and had a picnic dinner of brats and pb & j.
That last shot will be My Best Shot for today because I just love it when I get both of them together.
Happy Monday to ya!

These are great shots...love your photography!
the girls look great. brats and PB & J - I knew I liked you, now I know it is not just for your photography eye, fantastic fashion sense but also food choices.
I have never seen an armadillo, but the hike looks mice.
Happy Monday.
You crack me up! I wish I was back there thinking 60 was cold too. And it would be if I wasn't stuck in the frozen tundra called Chicago. The hiking day pics are great and I agree, the pic of the girls is awesome. I love it when the kids look so happy together. I'm ready to come back for another trip!
Looks like so much fun! I hate the "cold" weather with little ones...makes it so hard to do anything outdoors. Can't wait for them to be older so we can do some hikes of our own! LOVE your last shot...just perfect with the two of them!
60 degrees is cold....I was cold all day! I have a picture of the same tree (pic #2) in my living room. It was taken when the river flooded 2 yrs ago. I love that place!
it's a great shot . :)
Love that last shot - it is so sweet. Getting two kids together in a photo with real smiles is a challenge, so you really exceled with this shot!
Well, you know I will make fun of you for thinking 60 is cold LOL! Yeah, minus 10 on the car this morning. I'll take 60 in a heartbeat. ;)
Love that first shot - I always love fun DOF like that but my favorite victim, errr subject, rarely wants to cooperate for it. But that sisters shot really is awesome. Such genuine, happy faces and sweet love. Brats, mmmm that sounds good.
All we need is your photos....mmmm, I *love* them. I especially love the one of the 2 of them together - something about two sweet sisters huggin' on each other!
What a beautiful series. I think all fo the shots are great....the heart, the big tree, but yes, the sisters together capture my heart. It is so sweet!
Love the shot of the girls together...and the first one is my other favorite. It's been chilly here too (in the high 50's to low 60's) but will be up to 80 by Friday!
Happy Monday!
:)
oh i love that last shot. it is wonderful!
I'm SO into sibling love this week. SOOOO into it. Love the last picture.
Lovely shots, it looks so fun! I've been wimpy and not taken Harrison out enough in our cold 60 degree weather either. I need to do that. but then I got a cold this week.
Sigh.
Beautiful photos! I love the first one, but I agree- that last one is beautiful! If those were my girls, i'd want it enlarged and framed. :)
What adorable girls you have. I love the heart shot!
what a cool tree - gorgeous for sure!
That last shot is precious, but I love that first one!
Ooooo. Lovely collection. You are now making me jealous with your weather. We are SWELTERING again here!!!! It's 9.30pm and it's only just dropped to 39.9C!!!
I love the twisted roots on that tree shot and the last one of them together is indeed a keeper.
That last shot is beautiful, as well as all of them! And, Armadillos! How cool is that?! We get mostly skunks, and possums round here. PS Love that big ole tree too...must be pretty old.
I will try to get past the fact that you just said 60 degrees was cold. Okay, moving on from that...I do love that first shot!
