Mother's Day

Are these available anywhere but in S. Texas? It's a horse swing made from a tire. The girls had been wanting one for a long time and finally got one yesterday. Good times, good times. Vienne has been wearing swim suits around the house. Not wet ones from swimming. Dry ones while she sleeps, plays, eats. Not sure why. This is My Best Shot for today. Go to Tracey's for more fun.
We had a great Mother's Day. Natalya made me a bag full of handmade goodies at school and was so excited to give it to me that she woke me up at 6:30. It came with a song though so it was all good. We hung out at home for most of the day and then met the Grands for dinner. Vienne, still not quite getting the concept of the day, kept expecting something big to happen like birthday cake and presents. She even wished Daddy and Grandpa Happy Mother's Day several times. Sweet.

Yes we have them here in Kentucky. Your daughter looks beautiful on yours.
That just looks like pure summertime right there! She's so cute in her swimsuit. Maybe she's going through the not wanting to wear clothes phase and this is as close as she can get? I've seen those tire swings before, but you can't find them in very many places up here.
That is a fantastic picture - very summer vintage. It could be a postcard - I would buy it!
BTW, love the blog header - so creative.
Yep, you can get those here :-)
Sweet shot. Love the light!
Oh, I love that picture! I've seen those horse swings--we'll have to get one when my boys are older. That is too funny about Natalya wearing a swimsuit around! It certainly has been hot enough!!!
love the angle on that shot. i've only encountered those cute swings down at the tulip festival here in oregon -- can't blame your girls for wanting one!
It looks like they're having a great time on the swing!
Awesome! What a great idea for a swing! We just got Cadence a new swimsuit this weekend, and she loves wearing it indoors too (which is the only place she can wear it since it's still in the 50's in Chicago). This photo is a precursor to summertime fun for sure!
Yep, only in Texas! Very cute. I just wish we had a tree big enough to hang a rope swing, ho hum. I guess new construction has its disadvantages too.
Look at the fun she's having! What a great photo!

what a great shot! Riley wears her swimsuit like nobody's business too... "this IS my pajama mama"... they sure look cute though! :)

I was wondering what in the heck that thing was! She looks like she's having a ball!
How cute! There is something really timeless about this shot; I think it's the lighting and the expression. Lovely.
