Being a Kid
Monday, April 7, 2008 at 06:23AM Took the girls to Sea World yesterday. It was the most beautiful day. About 80 degrees, not a cloud in sight. The water park was open but I thought the water would be too cold to swim. But the girls still found water and got soaked. I ended up having to buy them swim suits there. We always watch the Shamu show but yesterday we even watched the dolphin show that has the acrobats diving into the water. Vienne stated that she now wants to be an acrobat. She has had a fascination with acrobats for awhile. I tried to get tickets to Cirque de Soleil when it was here a couple of weeks ago but I thought about it too long and it sold out. I was thinking a lot about the $90 a ticket price. But lucky for us the National Acrobats of Taiwan will be here in May. I got us tickets. Vienne will be overjoyed.
On Saturday, we went to dinner by the river and then visited the ducks. The girls ran and ran and didn't want to leave. I had a hard time asking them to leave because they were having so much fun...

Love that first photo. What a cool little "house". I take it you go to Sea World somewhat regularly !! I'd love to live close to somewhere like that where we could have season tickets ! The closest thing we have is Steve Irwin's Zoo ... which is fantastic ! We go all the time.

That sounds like a wonderful day. Kids being kids...it's a wonderful thing! I'm sure V will love the acrobats, too. It is always so fun watching those types of shows, but I would have thought long and hard about the $90 price tag, too. I've been to a few of their shows, but they are spendy.

How fun! I loved Sea World growing up! In fact I might still have a stuffed animal in the attic someplace from there!
I love the jumping in the yard! I still think us adults can do that! We might just fall though! :)

We saw Cirque De Soleil a couple of years ago. Awwwwwwwwwsome! I am sure Vienne will enjoy the Taiwanese acrobats though. we had Taiwanese friend who could do handstands and back flips from standing!! Lovely free photos of the girls.
