Question

Is it completely awful if you totally forget to feed your child before you send her off to school?  Just wondering.

Well, sometimes life just happens. I'm still rather thankful that daycare feeds the kids breakfast. When they start school it is going to be a lot more hectic trying to feed them.

Hey, if she didn't remind you she was hungry I'd say the fault is 50% hers... :-)

I totally see myself doing this one day...so NO!

I didn't do that, but today I sent my little girl to school with a short-sleeved t-shirt on, no coat, and no umbrella...and now it's 55 degrees and raining...she won't be hungry, but she will be cold and wet!Ughh...the guilt never stops.

Cheetos, chocolate chip cookie crumbs, candy bar, all that stuff that sits in the car sometimes serves as a great breakfast! haha! Been there, done that...(ughhh, I hate to admit it).

Since my kids barely eat ANYTHING, I would say no. Because I think I send them off that way every day.

I'll answer your question with another question:
Is it totally bad that I laughed at this in relief that other moms do this sort of thing, too??

If it is then I am the worst mom ever!!!!! My girls are always running late getting ready and are never hungry in the morning. I always feel like I should make em sit down and eat, but if they do eat it is on the run.

Nope. What's important is that she wasn't naked. :)

Hey, we are human.

Been there.... he lived. They get snack while they're there, and they eat like birds anyway.

I'm rather forgetful myself...and my thinking is if she wasn't hungry enough to ask for some breakfast.... she's probably doing fine.

No I've done it twice..same kid (Barrett)...it's ok, just feed them more for dinner!!

ha ha ha!!!! It's not really funny I know - but it comes with the territory I think!!!!
This week while I've been sick I kept thinking, "SHHEEESH when was the last time the boys have had a BATH!?!?!"

Well I am a breakfast girl so I am unlikely to forget it but I did teach the BA to make her own at around 7. A useful thing. I recommend it. My Mum once took me to church with no pants on. I think it scarred me for life.

as much as a struggle as it is to get the girls to even eat breakfast, i'm certain this will happen to me one day...and may not even be because I *forgot*! ugh...
