On the Eighth Day of December

We had a busy holiday activity filled weekend which included our small town Christmas parade and a gingerbread decorating party with our friends at our local bakery. We had so much fun doing it there last year that we absolutely had to do it there again this year. I would say that the kiddos ate much more last year while working than they did this year. Oh, they are growing up. And it really is hard to resist buttercream icing.

What great fun! We've been inspired to make them from scratch this year. (We've made the graham cracker ones in the past). Their houses are great!

We decorated a gingerbread house this past weekend too! What great fun it is for the kids....especially when they get to eat as they go! ;o)

Oh, I LOVE those gingerbread houses! How fun that you got to go a bakery to do it where they have so much to choose from! I think I will have to break out the gingerbread and do one soon! Love your selective focus in these...

I remember that from last year, and how fun it looked. Looks like it was fun again! I think I would be eating buttercream icing, too. Yum!
