On the Twenty First Day of December

Yesterday we took the kids to a water park that they turned into a Christmas village during the holidays. Tons of Christmas lights and music, Santa and the Mrs. But the highlight of the evening (I think for all of us) was the ice skating. All of the kiddos did so well for never having ice skated before. This is the only pic that turned out. I only carried my little point and shoot and it doesn't do so well in low light. And, it's very hard to balance for my life and take pictures at the same time. For some reason I got a lot of feet shots (unintentionally.) It was so much fun. Although Vienne is wearing a jacket up there, it was about 70 degrees. I'd say the perfect weather for ice skating.

Wow, I was wondering how that was going with the warm weather yesterday. Looks like so much fun!! Did they have ice skates there for you to use?
I too struggle with taking pics versus participating in activities. Glad you took the p&s and just had fun!
Looks like SO much fun! N has been begging to go ice skating, but I'm not that steady on skates myself - there's no way I could keep us both upright!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE ice skating! This is a great shot, especially of the HipHub. Nothing more Christmassey than outdoor ice skating. *sigh* None of that here at the moment!

I love ice skating, no one likes to go as much as I do so I end up skipping it. I'll hope that maybe this year Tyler will try it since he's the dare devil.
