Coming Up and Wrapping Paper

They have nothing to do with each other. But- A fun new project coming up Thursday. Come back and see if you really like to take pictures and want a new challenge. I think it's gonna be a lot of fun.
This picture cracks me up because I never know when that blanket is gonna rear it's dirty head. It's supposed to be pink but it's not.
I thought I'd provide a list of sites that I found that offers recycled gift wrap. I love wrapping gifts but I'm always torn (excuse the pun) because I hate to throw away. Gift bags just don't do it for me. It's not the same as tearing open a pretty package with pretty ribbon. Here's my list:
- Green Field Paper Company- this site has the cutest birdy paper. Thought of you, Carrie!
- Sweet Organics and Naturals has biodegradable curling ribbon- love that!
- Pristine Planet has links to really, really great wrap designs.
- Nashville Wraps has recycled gift bags if that's your choice. Gift bags can be used over and over again. Keep in mind that it's better to choose bags that are not coated.
- Olive Paper not only offers paper but they have wrapping ideas and techniques.
- Pulp Art makes gift tags out of plantable paper. I'll beat you to that one.
- I know lots of you sew. Use those fabric scraps to come up with something creative.
- And your local every day stores are more and more providing recycled options. Take a minute to check.
Share your eco wrapping ideas if you have one. And don't forget to count your blessings. Everyday.
