My little dancer girl.

 

She had her rehearsal recital on Wednesday and they won't let us take photos tonight of her real recital.  

 The little ones are the cutest ones to watch.  V did awesome, smiled almost the whole time.  At first she wasn't keen on the idea of wearing makeup but once she had it all on she loved it.  And now that she's reached this milestone in most little girls' lives, she's ready to move on.  "I don't wanna dance anymore."  OK then.

THOSE costumes! They are divine! Wow. Yeah...Addie doesn't want to "dance any more" either. We'll see how long it lasts. :-)

OH SHE IS SO SO BEAUTIFUL.I'm a dance teacher and this thrills my heart to see her starting so young and looking very much the part.
I went to see my granddaughter dance at her first ballet concert last year, what a treat....living so far away from my family ( them in South African, me in Germany ) I miss so much but seeing these photo's of your bundle brought all my own memories back...as a Nana and as a teacher!

Oh Lord she is so precious! I well remember a similar conversation with my Baby Angel at 3. I had made the costume and everything when she told me in no uncertain terms that she was NOT dancing in that concert! Poor starstruck mummy was bewildered! "But why darling?"......."I don't like all those EYES looking at me!" She announced.
She is obviously her father's daughter!
Did you make those costumes? They are sensational. Especially the tap one!

So very cute! I have Anya's rehearsal tonight and then the recital is tomorrow. We are both so ready for it to be done. We are going to do soccer in the fall and I don't think she will miss not having dance.
