Easter Weekend
Monday, April 5, 2010 at 07:52AM It was a great Easter weekend. We celebrated down at the Guadelupe River with friends, food, and fun. We leave there every time saying that we need to do that more often. The kids have the best time ever just running around and playing in the water.

Water is like a magnet for kids. Shoes come off, pants get rolled up, and eventually everyone is wet. Awesome.

The Easter celebration is over but that just means that Fiesta is coming! Wahoo!

Oh, picnicking at the river - reminds me of childhood in South Dakota! One of these days we're going to have to make 'confetti' eggs ('cause I'm a gringo...)!
Looks like a great time! Wish we could get down to the water soon! My daughter and I were by the Brazos river on Saturday, but it's not really a good place for swimming -- alligators! ;)

I love the Dad's grilling. Somehow it takes all 3 of them, right... ;0) Catching minnows is so fun for kids and those eggs are so bright and brilliant. Love the pants rolled up....
