Spring in Texas

As soon as we start getting a few warm days the girls start asking about when we can swim.  We always say that just because it's warmish out doesn't mean the water will be warm yet.  The only way to convince them is to just let them swim.  Although the outside temp yesterday was around 75 and sunny the pool temp was only 70 degrees.  Way way way too cold for me but they girls swam.  And had a popsicle.  I'm ready for full on 100 degree Texas hot.

Yikes! Too cold for me!! My kids were asking to swim when it was 40 outside!! Strange kids! :) I like the hot but i LOVE the mild, cooler spring days!

so we're both sharing popsicles this week:). V looks a little chilly in that second shot, even though she's trying not to show it.

Not quite purple lips...yet!
My girls - same way. It is sunny out? It is swimming weather!
I'm ready for the hot, too! I can't believe I'm saying that...but I like the sundress days...

Oh, my kids would love to go swimming, but I'm like you -- I'm waiting for those days when you wonder why God put Texas so close to the sun, LOL. Then the water will feel *wonderful*!

I would have to agree that the water is to cold for me too! But I bet it was fun sitting in the sun watching your girls! So looking forward to spring! =)

Haha! So funny! Our pool has just got cold. Even with our recent 30C days you wouldn't catch me in there. Kids just don't feel it do they?????

You definitely have Texas blood LOL! Well, it just seems that kids don't feel cold like us. Their little bodies are definitely moving more, that is for sure!
