Monday Monday

We are actually in a draught and we're not supposed to do this but the girls really wanted to play in the sprinkler.  We've been great at conserving water though.  So that's how I justified it.  The girls actually didn't want to do it for very long saying that the water "was freezing".

Shooting silhouettes is actually not as hard as I thought it would be.  You do have to put your camera on manual though.  This is My Best Shot for today.  Many more to see.

This is the last week of vacation before school starts.  I can't believe how fast it went.  No real plans but to just enjoy the calm before the storm.

Great shots, Melody! Oh yes, the end of summer is coming, isn't it? It is hard to believe! It felt like spring most of the summer to us, so really I don't feel like it has been much of one AT ALL. Oh, I didn't get any pics at the pool. When I'm by myself I don't bring my camera and the hubby isn't really a pool lover.

We are on our last vestiges of summer as well - but nothing says the end of summer like these photos! They are amazing. I love the silhouettes. And everyone deserves a little freezing hose water when there is a drought!

I think that is an amazing photo. It is so cool that you can see the water spray so clearly. And the girls are in such cute poses. cool!

These are gorgeous! I adore the way you captured the water and the silhouettes...I'm totally inspired! :) Enjoy the final moments of summer. My husband and I are gearing up for the new year as well (both teachers)!

Oh those are sensational! Even the BA agrees. If you were doing that in the drought here though someone would report you to the water police and you would be FINED!!! It's pretty serious stuff here. I remember the first time I put water in the BA's paddling pool in the UK; I just turned on the hose and IT WAS FREEZING!!!! Everyone laughed at me and told me everyone puts water from the kettle in paddling pools in the UK!! Hw weird is that?
