If we are facing in the right direction, all we have to do is keep on walking. ~Buddhist Saying
Whew, is all I really want to say. December is here and I want to start the month of giving off with a giveaway. I found this way cool ornament at the Christmas shop and thought that I'd by myself one. And I bought one other lucky person one. Leave a comment here telling us what you will be doing to enjoy December. Through the madness. Through the chaos. Through the hustle. I will take comments through Wednesday night. I will draw a name and announce the winner on Thursday. Please leave your email. I won't have the energy to search for it.
Cute, huh? It's about 2 inches high by 2 1/2 inches long. Happy December.

That is super cute!
Well this December is going to be busy, but hopefully we will stay sane. Kai's birthday is tomorrow and mine is next week. We are hosting one Christmas party. I'm hoping that life won't be too hectic. I have grand plans to have some quality gingerbread house building time. :)
Well, I'll be cleaning, organizing and packing for our big move to Texas! But, I didn't really have to tell You that!!! As if Christmas isn't enough. ; )
That is really cute! In December I think I will be looking forward to a nausea-free holidays (hopefully) and waiting impatiently for my camera to get back from Nikon. Its gonna be a tough month ahead!
VERY cute! and SO nice of you!
doing my best to BE in the moments.
we know all too well that it gets nuts... plain silly... there IS so much to do...
i want to soak it in though... ALL of it.
it seems like it all flies by so fast... like i "look back" on it... i want to grab a hold of some of the majic as it's floats about!
will make every effort to remind myself of the gift of Christmas... the real celebration at hand!
here's to the start of December!!!! xo
This is precious! And I must say the quote was perfect for today too. Between cakes, cookies, cards, letters, cleaning, shopping, and the other usual activities, the bulk of my energy is being spent guiding 60 seventh graders through the publishing of their original myth or legend stories! Whew! Any and all prayers are appreciated!
Ooooh, now that is cute!!! But, I won the adorable ornament giveaway from last year, so don't include me in this one. I'm trying to step back this year and find the time to rediscover my creative side. I want to be crafty!
We're doing the elf on a shelf hiding and finding...a fun family-centered activity to keep going throughout the month!
And thank you for this giveaway-where can I buy about12 of those myself?! :)
oh, i adore that ornament. would look great on my already full tree ;).
i love december, even with all the hustle & bustle. one thing i like to do is throw a cookie decorating party for the boys and their friends. very simple: i make the cookies and icing, and guests bring their favorite toppings. the kids have a blast!
This is a very cute ornament, it would make a nice addition to my tree. The Buddhist saying is appropriate for this time of year. Happy December.
man, that is very sweet of you! i remember those from last year - they are so very awesome.
i'm crazy with everything - but addie and i just put up our outdoor decorations - eeee! next our tree - then it will feel christmas-y around here.
i found a fun site out of australia where you leave handmade toys anonymously to be "found" and i have decided that i am most definitely doing
that this year! i'll write about it when i get it all together.
I just want to sleep uninterupted...is that too much to ask for Christmas?
I remember this ornament last year! Very cute.
Hubby and I are doing a book club together. Just a new way to connect. Taking turns picking out the book...we're on the 2nd one now. It's been fun to talk about something new.
Too bad I missed the cutoff but I wanted to say how generous of you to offer this and how cute! Have a wonderful day.
I know this contest is over, but I just wanted to write what I am doing this month. I am so very excited to be welcoming my husband home. We have not seen him since July 5th. I miss him so much and can not wait to be able to talk to him face to face and to be able to hug him and hold his hand. I am excited to see how Tessa will be with him after not seeing him for so long. He is in Iraq and this is only his leave, he will be here for 2 weeks. Then I have to say goodbye to him again. It is bittersweet. I get to say hi and have to say goodbye all within the same month.
God bless everyone and thank you to everyone who shows support!!!
