Howdy, 2009!

I hope 2009 has gotten off to a great start for everyone. I really had such a wonderful holiday. The girls were so good. I read them the riot act and threatened them with camp on the first day of vacation. But after that they were perfect angels most of the time. They have one more day of vacation and then it's back to waking up early. I was really loving getting up at 7:30.
My big plan for 2009- no, for January 2009- is getting my craft room done finally. I go in there all the time and wish I had a nice, crafy place to hang out. We will have been in this house for a year at the end of March and I really don't want to say that the room is still a mess at that point. So send some creative chi my way.
It's a dreary, wet-ish, cold day today. It will only be in the high 30s. Luckily in S. Texas cold days don't last long and it will be in the 70s in a few days. Don't think I could live where it's cold for a whole Winter. Imagine that- cold Winters. We'll spend our last day of vacation inside.
Looking forward to a great 2009.

My goal is to delete, fix, print or label all the pics in files on my computer. I figure if I can find an hour a day...by the end of Jan I should have finished...one month of work for 2 years of pics...

I cannot imagine your kids needing the riot act......those angels??? Never.....Maybe you were just sleep deprived and cranky :o) Didn't you live in Boston or Maryland?? I remember a Christmas card of you guys in the snow...I agree though, I want it to be 70 degrees again.

Beautiful picture! The cold rainy days are no fun but the cold sunny ones are great for hats and scarves. Just wish I could get some nice pics of my two in winter gear. We have snow today, just a dusting, but sun too so it is melting quickly. Good luck with your crafty karma.

Wonderful shot of your beautiful girl! I'll send some creative chi your way. You need to get that craft room set up so you can get creative! If nothing else it can be your room to get away from everything.
Hope your weather is turning for you. It will be several months before we see anything close to the 70's!
Good luck with sorting out your craft room. I would like to sort out my whole LIFE right now :-) There seems to be 'stuff' EVERYWHERE!
