On the Fifteenth Day of December

Our Christmas card for this year.

We had a really great weekend.  My sister came home for a few days.  The girls can't get enough of her.  She comes home a few times a year for just a few days each.  So the girls are constantly trying to get her attention.  And everyone wants to sit by Auntie Steph.  We spent Saturday night eating homemade chili at our friends' house.  We drank some beer, the kids played.  I'm still trying to keep the holiday simple, picking carefully what we spend our time on, only excepting a few invitations.  It's been so nice.  I haven't felt as rushed around and the girls are really appreciating each experience more.  It is now the only way to go.

Your card turned out very nice. I am running behind this year. I always have mine mailed by this point, but this year I only ordered them over the weekend. It was my first time creating my own template. I posted it last night on the blog.

Oh, very nice!

We were very busy last week but this week will be filled with the four of us and very low key. The season is gone before we know it....I want to cherish it~

I am toying with the idea of making a Christmas card. Do you think I am too late? :-)
This has a lovely sense of togetherness about it. The cool winter colours work well too.

Beautiful! That is your card, I imagine. Wonderful job and wonderful sentiment. The picture fits it perfectly. We have been doing the same this year. Trying to not be so rushed and take it easy. I must say, I'm a lot less stressed.
